My fondest memory of 2008 is coming home and seeing my family after 6 long years! That means meeting all the new babies (4 of them!) and the new nephews in law. It also means sitting on my sisters deck with her in the summer and sipping lemonaid while we watched the gold finches, the snow birds, the owls, and so many other species, as well as the squirrels (dang squirrels!) at the bird feeders. So quiet and peaceful! It also means getting to know some of my roomies here better as many of you helped me with my sisters grief. I will never forget your many kindnesses, and the fact that many of you took time out of your busy lives to send a note to try and help my sister and I. It ment the world to me, and many of your suggestions helped my sister. I am forever gratefull.
