THE AMERICAN FLAG
The American flag stands for freedom
The red, white, and blue
It tells of sacrifice for freedom
I beleive in Peace and Unity
Red stands for Power
Our Nation so Strong
White Stands for purity and peace
Blue stands for Happiness
I Am Proud to be An American
I stand Proud and True
I show Respect to the flag
by placing my hand over my heart
a moment of silence
a quick prayer
for those, who have fallen
for freedom
We are United
We are One Nation

The 4th of July
Today this nation celebrates
The 4th of July,
With parade, and with fireworks
lighting up the sky.
Today commemorates the birth
Of freedom in this land,
Freedom from oppression,
With Father in command.
Our Founding Fathers dreamed it,
And wanted it to be
A nation filled with people
Who loved true liberty,
And so they sought for guidance
From the Father of us all,
And guided by the Spirit,
They answered heaven's call.
They wrote the Declaration
Of Independence then,
And everyone accepted it,
And signed it with their pen.
They knew what they were doing,
And prayed that it would be
A unifying document that
Would one day set them free.
They pledged their sacred honor to
Uphold this document,
Because they knew within their hearts,
It was from heaven sent.
They lost their lives defending
This land of liberty,
And many others also died
To set this nation free.
And we, their benefactors,
Should honor them today,
And show our thanks and gratitude for
The good old USA,
And pledge allegiance to the Flag
That flies o'er land and sea,
And to the cause of freedom,
And our sweet liberty.
America, America,
God bless thee evermore,
And may His peace rest over all
From shore to sandy shore,
That we, His sons and daughters,
May win the battle here,
Against the powers of darkness which

OOOOpppp!! Best I get entered. Milwaukee has the best fireworks of all time - during the best music fest of all time - "SummerFest". That's where we'll be. Looking up at the "bombs bursting in air" takes me back to my childhood. I love 4th Of July. Its my favorite. Have a SAFE AND HAPPY 4th everyone!!
