Hope you are all enjoying your Saturday, like I am. Yesterday, I shopped until I dropped, and now today, I am doing nothing of any value whatsoever. And I like it that way!

This time of year, the crisp air, colorful leaves drifting down from the trees, reminds me of being a child. Neighbors would rake their leaves into piles and me and my friends would jump on the piles of leaves until the neighbors came from their houses and chased us away. And then away we would run, laughing and scared at the same time. Now that I can no longer get away with jumping on piles of leaves nor am I any longer capable of the same, indoor hobbies and activities now replace childhood joys.
As a child, Fall Saturdays would find me in secondhand stores, peering through the glass display cases at the jewelry. If I had any money at all, you can rest assured I would leave the stores with new to me treasures in my pockets. Having always been fond of jewelry, Fall is the perfect time of year for me to sit inside and practice my jewelry making. Here are a couple of projects I completed this past week:

Yea, cooler weather is here. It's not sweater weather yet, but I can go out during the day without melting.
