I consider myself to be a very lucky person having not one but two of the best dads in the world. My father and my stepfather.

My father has died shortly after my 24th birthday back in January of 2003. No one has ever informed me about the funeral or where he was buried...which is horribly wrong but I was his little girl. Just last night, I googled my father to see where was his final resting place was located...and I was lucky to have found it. So tomorrow morning, I will visit my father's grave so I could finally say the things I have always wanted to say for all these years. I wished he could the woman that his little girl turned out to be. I never got to see me grow up because he left home by the time I was 10. I just saw him a few times thereafter before his death. I miss my father terribly.

Happy fathers day all, and truely thank all of you fathers for being there.
Wish mine was here in real live to have been able to watch my daughter gradutate from high school. He would of been so proud. She was # 6 out of 254. WWWWWWWWWWWooooooooooo HHHHHHHHHHHooooooooo.
And also my husbands father, whom I never got to met, but feel like I have known him my whole life. And also my husbands step dad, another great infulence on us all, what wonder fathers they were, and still are. They are all with us in are hearts and souls.

I wish my dad was alive to have seen me marry my husband. He would have loved him.
The other day my honey was trying to feed one of my kitties, with a piece of food sticking out of his mouth (sorry but animal lovers won't find this out of the ordinary). My poor kitty thought he was trying to rub heads with him so he kept putting his head down and rubbing it against hubby's face. As I laughed, I realized this was something my dad would have done. He was a major animal lover, which is where I guess I got it from.
I'm seeing more and more of my dad in my honey as time goes on....the good things.

Fathers are ok, but Daddys are grand. (Almost) Any man can father a child, but it takes someone wonderful to be a Daddy. I look back on how I admired my Daddy as a very small child, how my Daddy looked bigger than a tree to me, and yet how gentle he was when it came to his little girl. Daddy, I will always treasure each memory of you. Happy Father's Day!
