The best memory was probably the Election night! I cried the tears of joy when Barack Obama won and during his speech! Also, when my boyfriend bought me a diamond necklace for Christmas. Other than that, 2008 was such a blur to be. I hope 2009 will be a better year for me.

EASY.....DAVES B-DAY IS ON THE 24TH, MINE THE 26TH. WE RENT THE HOTEL ROOM WE RENTED 20 YEARS AGO, THE FIRST TIME WE SHARED OUR B-DAYS TOGETHER. BEST 3 DAYS EVERY YEAR AND MANY OF OUR FONDEST MEMORIES.... *,*

When Barack Obama broke attendance records for number of attendees, with in excess of 75,000 people, at a political rally in my own hometown, Portland, Oregon, May 18, 2008!!
So proud we could do it for him!

i have to say it was when barack obama was declared the president elect.
i truley think that he will get us out of this mess we are in.

I would have to say for me, the best memory I had was when my oldest son turned 17 and then 9 days later my baby turned a year.

My fondest memory in 2008 was on my daughters 3rd birthday party,July 14. We had a swimming party and she swam without a life jacket or anyone helping her at all for the first time. Thanks for the contest!!

When my son announced that i'm going to a grandma for the first and
my mom is going to be a Great Grandma. I've has 3 strokes in tem
months so I hope I live long emough to see the birth of my grandchild.
I don't know how thie site works, not sure if i am doing this right.

Easy one. Watching my daughter bravely pull through two brain surgeries within a week. Scary memory, yes, but seeing her wake up both times and smile is far beyond merely fond.

my fondest memory of 2008 was losing 30 pounds through Weight Watchers and then meeting the love of my life just recently. I also had a big job promotion and started school to finish my bachelors degree. 2008 was a great year!
