I love my mother so much . When she was alive I really enjoyed being with her . I hope I am as loving as my mother was . I miss here so much . I know some day I will see her again and she and I will have all the happynest that one could ever want . I don't know how she put up with 11 children to care for by here self . But MOM you did a GREAT job LOVE YOU

Hello all! I'm here to ask for a Mother's Day gift from each of you! Sounds pretty bold, huh?! I actually would like to ask if you could cross your fingers or send a prayer or positive thought my daughter's way. She's scheduled for brain surgery May 13th. Not the Mother's Day either of us ever expected.
To those of you out there that are moms, Happy Mother's Day! May you find true joy in your day!

Besides the post I wrote on my Mom, Id also like to say that I am a mom
to a wonderful 25 year old son. We are very close and I always say that
having him was the best thing that ever happened to me! My hubbie and I
are very lucky. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms of NoLuckNeeded!!!!!!

I haven't....LOVE my mom and LOVE my sister, Karen, who is also a mom. MISS my sister who died 15 years ago from Leukemia, But then my niece, Chloe is a blessing; and the fact that in tragedy, my family finally found some healing is another blessing.

Ok - I am in. My Mother, MaryAnn, was wonderful. I lost her in 1994 of Pheumonia and miss her everyday. She was kind and gentle - and had the softest skin - she used to stroke my hair as I lay by her side - even in my 20's. She had cancer while she carried me - delivered me and went through 6 months of hell - and survived, against all the odds. My brother gets strength through her - so I know he'll make it.

Im In... But I'm not sure if I can give the same wonderful messages as the rest about my mother. She was not the best, and she has tried relentlessly to push my kids out of my life. She was a drill sargeant from day 1 and very abusive, verbally.
On a happier note:
I truely am happy for those of you with wonderful mothers!!! And I would like to shout out to all that have great moms..Happy Mothers Day to them!

My Mom and I both loved Erma Bombeck, she was a wonderful mother who knew how to live life with a sense of humor, (the best Mom's always do) so here are some of her great quotes:

My prayers and thoughts are with all the people & families here at NLN. It takes a special person to be a mother. I am fortunate bc my mother is still here with me and we are very close. I LOVE MY MOM!!! I am even more fortunate to be the mother of two sons! One will be 4 on the 4th of July & the eldest is 6! Being a mom is sometimes trying and hard. However, it is the BEST & MOST REWARDING part of my life....I am thankful & truly blessed!!!
