My nephew is a sargent in the marine corps 2nd tour in Iraq and my father whom passed away last April served during Vietnam I have the utmost respect for our military and thank them and their families for what they given in the name of peace.

The Chinese sent about 120,000 troops into the reservoir area against some 16,000 allied troops, including 12,000 Marines. The Americans suffered 9,675 battle casualties, according to retired Marine Maj. Patrick C. Roe, chairman of the Chosin Few Historical Committee.

Wow.. One of my Grandfathers served in Korea (the other in WWII)
and I had no idea about those troop numbers.
