lunadelmar:
We made this Fireball Pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and it WOWED the family , it was delicious and the kids had a small piece as well
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
1 cup half-and-half cream
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons Fireball cinnamon whiskey
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pastry for single-crust pie (9 inches)
Sweetened whipped cream and cinnamon, optional
Preheat oven to 425° In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients; beat until smooth. Line a 9-in. pie plate with pastry; trim and flute edges. Pour filling into crust.
Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°. Bake 45-50 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown and top of pie is set (cover edges with foil during the last 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning if necessary). Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour. Refrigerate overnight or until set.
If desired, serve with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon. We made fresh whipped cream and added Fireball instead of vanilla to the whipping cream , it was awesome
OK!! LUNA I am moving to Florida and going to move next door to you!!! You got some good stuff goin on at your house!!

Anyone Like Kahlua but NOT the price? how about some homemade?
Ingredients
• {1 batch = 8 cups}
• 4 cups cane sugar
• 2-1/2 cups water
• ¾ cup instant coffee (granules)
• ¼ cup vanilla extract
• ¼ cup brandy
• 3-1/4 cup 100 Proof Vodka
Instructions
1. Mix together sugar and water. If you don’t want all this sugar you can use any substitute you like. There are converters out there or you can call the mfg. of the substitute tell them what you are making and how much sugar you need. They will tell you exactly how much of the substitute to use.
2. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Stir instant coffee into sugar water while boiling. Be careful, it will boil up higher.
4. Remove from heat and add vanilla, brandy and vodka.
5. Allow to cool to room temperature.
6. Pour into bottles and allow to sit for at least 4 weeks.
You add anything extra like cinnamon.. a vanilla bean..cream….its a wide open choice!!!
