speaking of clever names like kamere!

I always wanted to name a dog Deeogie (like D.O.G.)
or Askim like , awww hes so cute,whats his name???- Askim

My dad always had a thing about naming his dogs "Dog." I remember him having 2 different dogs named "Dog." I also remember my brother getting a dog, back in the 80's, and naming it "Dude." I guess "dude" was the word back then. He thought it was cool, until it got older and realized he had a female dog.

these arent really dog names but when my dad got really mad at my dog scruffy (like when scruffy bit my 7 year old brother right in the he would call him "you no good flea bitten mangy mutt from hell"
We also refered to him as "SATAN SPAWN" may he rest in peace,poor lil guy

True story! Back in 1999 when I worked as a bagger at a grocery store, I was bagging this older man's groceries when he begins to tell me a story about this friend's dog named "Comestay"...as in "come" and "stay". He told me that the dog eventually got so confused because he didn't know whether to come or stay that he had sort of a nervous breakdown! LOL!

I also used to have a friend whose Doberman Pinschers' name is "Kamere"...as in "Come here"!

OMG!! I just burst out laughing!! Those are both funny!! But I must admit that "Comestay" is pretty mean!! the poor thing didn't know if he was coming or staying!!

my sister as a child used to hear my mom tell the dog to get all the time
so she thought his name was git. she always yelled "hereget" when she wanted the dog.

One day - shortly after having the dog I said "damn, that dog is a pain in the ass" - soooo, we named it

P.I.T.A. (pain in the ass)

Poor thing followed me to school and got hit by a car.

When I got my little Maltese at 8 weeks (he passed last Sept at 14) he didn't weigh more than a pound or two. When he was checking out the house he was able to walk right under the bed and came out with about a hundred dust bunnies on him thus his name was "Dusty Dog"...... I sure miss him!

I used to use that abbreviation when I was referring to someone who WAS a p.i.t.a. - but only myself and a select few people knew what I was talking about!! (one of those inside jokes )
