my hisband and i have bpth had netspend mastercards for about 5 or 6 years now..the only problem that we haave had with them is..we each have two entirely different card numbers but the master account is in his name with the other one linked to it, for a couple of yers it was nothing to get on line and transfer money from savings account to the card account..then about 1 1/2 years ago if i wanted to tranfer anything he had to verbl give them approval and go through the 20 questions routine..they were really bad for about 9 months or so.. even had a customer service rep call me name cause i wnated to know why they placed a hold on my account after depositing 900 and if one even spolke the slightest bit of english --you hit the jackpot.their hours chnged from 24hrs to like 8 to 10..and the right hand had no clue what the left hand was doing soo to speak..but lately they have gotten 100% better.but all we had to do when we got our card was genreral info and you used to have to have the crd and 2 forms of id just to make a deposit onto your own card..glad they got over ll that

So this is the card it looks like. You can put money on it with you visa or master card. I have been look for one that will take them. 
I keep missing the post.
But why do some of them say they need to give them the maiden name and SS# I do not think that right.
I have had my SS# used 2 time now it is a pain to get straight, But now that I do not have income going on it , it may not be hard to fix but still I do not think they really need all that just put money on and take it off.

i got a new card e but didnt get the 5.00 instantly i deposited 21.00 today still didnt get it myst1111

Are you talking about a netspend card? I received mine and they did'nt ask for anything like that.In fact it was the easiest card I ever registered,and they gave me my 5.00 with no problem.
Really? ive used visa NETSPEND pre-paid card for at least 4 yrs..i have never been asked to send a copy of anything,,,
