Man, I don't know....it brings back all those memories from high school...the cheerleaders sold carnations--pink (I love you) smile blue (I like you) smile white (I admire you) smile and green (you bug me) smile . AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! The wretched anticipation! Writhing in wonder whether I had anyone out there who just might find me kinda cute. Or tossing in torment waiting to see if there were people out there waiting to express themselves by giving me the gift of green, and I ain't talkin' cash....

Breathe. Relax. It's all over now.

I have a great hubby and 4 fantastic kiddos, so it's a much nicer experience now smile as long as I can forget those teenage years! lol

I LIKE VALENTINE'S DAY BECAUSE I HAVE MY WONDERFUL SON AND MY LOVING PARENTS TO LOVE, WHICH I DO YEAR ROUND ANYWAY, BUT I LOVE TO GIVE THEM THOSE SWEET CARDS AND MY MOTHER SOMETHING REALLY NICE!!!!!!! smile

Valentines day is special to me, I have a good friend and her birthday is on Valentines Day, and she is Korean, and she is like a daughter to me, she will be 22 yrs old compared to my old age I just reached in January, so you see why she calls me mom, I treat her as my own. I tell my husband of 33 years that I love him everyday. The only thing different is on valentines's day he gets a card too! Sometimes I get one too smile

I like it, though its not a big day here in Australia. Nothing wrong with a day that reminds us to reach out and tell someone "I love you"; you can't hear that too many times in a year smile
