my fondest memory would have to be this Thanksgiving-my brother actually came home to spend it with the family (the first time in 10 years-he's the youngest of five kids) it was wonderful-we had four generations!! Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Most memorable event was when my family including in-laws and my grandmother took a bus trip to Charlestown wv gambling. We had alot of fun.

Though I just recently heard that a man has to be the first one to walk through your door in the new year. Otherwise you will have bad luck. So I made hubby go out (in the snow) in his robe last night and walk through the door

It may not sound very happy but this past year made me realize what a wonderful man I married. He did so much for my mom when she was sick (I'm an only child with no family). And then when she passed, he took care of everything, including me.
I never would have made it without him, and I thank God every night for placing him in my life.
We originally started out with a blind date. At the time I wanted no part of him. He was older than me and a police officer. It just wasn't my thing. Well that was in 1989 - married in 1992 - and I love him more today than ever before.
(Sorry I'm soooo depressing) Unfortunately, two years after we were married, his partner and close friend who fixed us up, was killed in the line of duty. He would be so proud to see us today!!!!!!
