I'll be home with the kids and grandkids. We had a very horrible last couple of months, my 27 year old niece (she was like my daughter) passed away suddenly, I spent four days in the hospital with my daughter and got out Christmas Eve, we had no Christmas for the first time in my life this year. I pray we can stick together and make it through this horrible incident. God Bless everyone and don't forget to tell each other you love them and keep them near your heart. May everyone have a safe and happy new year. Thanks NLN for being there and keeping things interesting during 2008!

If my girls can't stay awake, I'll make sure to wake them up in time to celebrate and share a toast (my kids love the sparkling cider!!) as we countdown to the new year 2009! I prefer staying in during New Year's Eve.... it's probably too crazy in the streets for me. Please be safe tonight everyone!

I will spend New Year's Eve at home with my husband . Were it is nice and warm . Watch count down on TV were it is nice and safe. Happy New Years Everyone

RGALP, you brought tears to my eyes reading your post. That is something I think about often, I call my parents every single day, and it scares me to think that one day they wont be around. I'm spending New Years in a truck stop, holed up in my truck playing allllll my casinos on my 1000 winnings from thismorning

I will spend my new years at home with family and at work for 4 hrs.
we have a small community and just today we lost a community member, she left 4 kids and a husband be hide. for every one here, we miss her. she was such a nice person and mother.

My daughter decided I was too old to party the night away so she decided she wasn't so I get to watch the grandkids while she parties in the new year
