Which reminds me- I live in Fl. Yesterday, some mail man down here was bitten by a diamond back rattle snake yesterday when he opened a mail box ( a common fear down here of mail delivery people) and the mail man continued to deliver mail for the next HALF HOUR (!) before going to the hospital!!!! (neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor poisonous snake bite...)
now that's dedication to the job!!! My personal opinion is that the poor man was in shock, but having lived in this state for going on 7 years now, it is possible that he simply wasn't educated enough to realize the danger he was in. (The school system here is one of the very worst in the nation, and believe me- an import from a state with a good school system dosen't need 5 min. here to recogize this problem...(sorry Floridians, I mean NO offence-there are SOME good schools, some VERY good schools, but they are FEW and FAR between)
