This was my car. I named it after my mother because she never got to see it or ride in it. I had accumulated some budget shortages due to my love of gambling and lack of earning the kind of money I earned when I bought this car. Also, the constant repairs were sending me to bankruptcy. The thing that people don't understand, according to the Jag Shop Repair Shop owner who purchased it from me, is that with the S-Type, after 60,000 miles, there is always something going wrong with these cars, and it's never anything minor, always something major.
It hurt to part with Lucille, but in the best interest of my budget, I thought it best that Lucille went to a loving home. The guy who owns the Jag Shop is keeping her for himself. I feel good about that.
Now I have a garage I can use to store stuff in and clean out my basement.
