Hi All just had a little poem I thought would be nice to share this time of year:


GOT YOUR BACK
I am a small and Precious Child
My dad's been sent to fight.
The only place I'll see his face
Is in my dreams at night.
He will be gone too many days
For my young mind to keep track.
I may be sad, but I am proud.
My Daddy's Got Your Back.

I am a caring Mother
My son has gone to war.
My mind is filled with worries
That I have never known before.
Everyday I try to keep
My thoughts from turning black.

My Grandpa served two terms in the Korean war and one in Vietnam he dropped out of High school voluntarily to go to the Korean War and was in some way historic part of the Korean War called the Chosin Resevoir crazy stuff But god bless all the people who make huge sacrifices for our country or we wouldnt be able to live the way we do now so thanks to all those great people and again god bless!

heres a statistic about that part of the Korean war crazy crazy stuff I cant belive my GGGGrandpa dropped outta highschool on purpose to go do this....

The Chinese sent about 120,000 troops into the reservoir area against some 16,000 allied troops, including 12,000 Marines. The Americans suffered 9,675 battle casualties, according to retired Marine Maj. Patrick C. Roe, chairman of the Chosin Few Historical Committee.
