Mike and I just watched "Modern Marvels" on the Pacific Coast Highway....
It has to be theeee most beautiful drive in the world....ya start in San Diego and drive all the way to Alaska. The last time I spent my vacation in California with my sister..we made that drive...............she has since past and I would give anything in the world to go there again. No need to leave the country....that coastal drive has the most incredible scenery in the world. Near ventura...the ocean (at high tide) splashes up on the road and to your right are mountains. Its like heaven...I could only hope.

Every great once in a while, there will be the scent of fields with flowers, and the sun will be shining and warm, and that brief smell instantly takes me back to when I was a little girl,visiting my Great Grandmother in Sun Valley , Idaho......running though those fields, catching grasshoppers, and hearing the stream bubbling near by.....it was truly the best times I've ever had in my life, and so that's where I would go, to Sun Valley, Idaho....
