I love the holidays because it is usually the only time of year my family all gets together. This year we will be all getting together at my house. So that means I have to get to cleaning!! but am looking forward to it

A Very Merry Love / Hate Christmas



I love painting our front window for Christmas each year.

I hate holiday traffic.

I hate that so many people get depressed during the holidays for weird reasons.

I love the smell of my Christmas Dinner in the house all day.

But what I absolutely love the most is that...

Christmas is the one time of year that we all "rock-up" and deal with our own insecurities, so that we may truly appreciate other people we see/interact with every day.


And of course...

who doesn't love Dancing Jesus?

The holidays are about family time. This year is extra special. My wife, who already loves the holidays as a xmas baby, is due January 6. This is the most special package in the world anyone can ask for. And when it comes to Santa Claus, I think of the special gift from God I wake up to every morning, and the wonderful little girl we are expecting over the new year. It's funny how you have time to reflect about what the true magic in the holidays represent, and all in all, it's the magic and wonder you pass on to each other. It's a wonder that we passed on our wonders to each other, to make such a wonderful baby. And now, instead of being a kid that's wide eyed for what's under the tree...Now I'm a man, who just appreciates what it is that life has given thee. Besides the appreciation for my wife, new daughter, and family, the appreciation(finally) of your own life is truly cosmic.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I love to watch my grandchildren get so excited before hand, counting the days, trimming the trees, waiting for snow, and then finally opening the presents on Christmas morning!


what I hate about the holidays are all the commercials and the shopping with all of the crowds of people!!!!! ( thats why this year, I did most of my shopping online)

I love watching the people opening their gifts i get for them, more than what i get. i'm a giver than a reciever. love watching the grandkids get so excited opening their gifts, it's like the happiest day of their lives. I hate all the money spent, i call it the broke season. but it is worth it in the long run. Happy birthday jesus and merry christmas!!!

smile For me the only thing that matters with Christmas is the spiritual feeling,I am not so happy with all the moneythings, and food and presents, and familyfeelings,if its a free will choise,then its ok for me, but all the "MUSTS" I do not like.
