Even though it has been a very rough year for my family, there are still many things I am thankful for. My mom was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago, but I am still thankful for the love, laughter and happiness that she has blessed my life with, and I am thankful that God is providing her the strength to overcome this obstacle. I am thankful for the daughter that I have, who is my true miracle, she has taught me so much even though she is so young. She has taught me about unconditional love and gives me a renewed spirit every day. I am thankful for my friends, who have not only left footprints in my life, but have left heartprints as well, and I am so very thankful that God has chosen to bless my life in so many ways, one of them being that I have the health and happiness to be able to write this post.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of the year when all familys get together and rejoice and celabrate . We here in Wisconsin and I think most people eat Turkey and all the fixings on that day . We all talk and watch football .The lady's do there thing such as play games or just sit and talk about old times . Some times they swap reciepies of the past Thanks'givings . The children round around the house and have fun doing there oun thing . HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!! I am thankful for having raised 3 wonderful children, 2 daughters and 1 son. My oldest daughter died at 25 from luekemia and she left me a grandson whom I raised also, then 4, now 18. I am very thankful to God for having had her and all my family in my life. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

This is going to be a rough holiday season, cause unfortunately our family has come across a big loss, our mother. Because my mom was the one who always planned the gatherings, and arranged for all of us to be together, no one has planned anything for thanksgiving. Well some of them will be doing something with their other family memebers on their spouses side. Sorry for the sad story, but there is something I am very thankful for, and thats my bundle of joy I have now. My 2 1/2 year old daughter Sierra has brought much joy to my life, and she is already excited for the holiday season. She misses her grandmother as much as any of us, but for me, I'm just happy she got to know her grandmother. My daughter is the apple of my eye, and she makes me proud each and every day, for her, I am truly blessed.
