Hey ev1! Happy Summer! I am starting a brand new life this summer. In just a few days, my husband, our son Tom, his wife Robbie, and their 3 teenagers are all moving from California to Oregon!I am so excited I can't wait to get there! I am a Native New Englander, been living in California for two years now. Recently our son landed a great new job in Oregon with a terrific company,so we are packing up and moving North! From all of the pictures I have seen and with the help of google earth, I have come to the conclusion that Oregon is quite a bit like New England, only more so Life is such an interesting adventure, I know that this summer is going to be very special!

Going to hit the open road on my first cross-country ride......Easy Rider style! My theme for this summer is "Freedom". A six week journey with nothing more than two wheels, the open road, and absolute serenity. Sleeping under the stars at night and connecting with what we have left of nature. No agenda, no set route of travel, no time frame to reach a destination, NO CELLPHONE, and no responsibility. The only planned stops throughout the journey are to visit my brother in South Carolina, my other brother in Virginia, and my father in Ohio. None of which know about this little adventure, as I don't want to have to provide a time or day of my visit. That would only defeat the purpose of the entire quest. Other than that, the only thing that is preplanned is my arrival back home in Arizona within six weeks. Then it's back to the grindstone at work. If you're not familiar with the film East Rider, check it out and you'll understand what kind of summer I intend to have. I may return a completely new man with a whole new view on life......or maybe I'll just return exhausted, with a really bad sunburn.

Going up to Big Bear for a week with my husband and son!!!!

spend time with grand daughter planting a garden and flowers and making summer dresses. We always have lots of plums so I plan to make bags up for the elderly in my neighbor hood. They really enjoyed the treat as well as the thought last year. If I get too may I can always sell them to farmers market for a little extra cash for casino free rolls. lol

ALTHOUGH THE HEAT IS ON IN TEXAS WE HAVE TO TAKE THE KIDS ALL EIGHT OF THEM TO DISNEY WORLD SO WE NEED A LITTLE SPENDING MONEY HAD TO SAVE UP FOR 2YRS FOR THIS TRIP (DERSHEKEE) THANKS

brr winter here now but summer was filled with family,friends,bbqs, and the beach

My plans for the summer are doing my best to keep my sanity along with keeping my children busy and happy! No actual plans, but I would like to visit my best friend (shes only 40 miles away)
