I will be continuing to recover my health, nearly died a few months back, when I managed to live they thought they were going to have to take my legs. So now that I managed to dodge those bullets I am working very hard to recover my health and get on with life. In the mean time I am spending a lot of time on my butt in front of my friend the pc and working on the book of poetry as well as the family story I have always promised myself I would write one day. One day dang near didn't come, so I now have a new appreciation for life and all of the wonders it offers. Thanksgiving planning, Christmas shopping, (it's amazing what great deals you can find online!) and just taking it one day at a time, with much gratitude!

I am going to be remodeling our new house this fall. We had to move after 5 years in our house, the landlord come to us and said she sold the house, so we were forced to move. It all worked out moved to the town where my family is. Thanks for this awesome contest. NOLUCKNEEDED ROCKS!!!!

Looking forward to Thanksgiving in Texas with my brother and his family. My 22 year old son will be joining us for the first time in 3 years, so am overjoyed about that! Wishing everyone at NLN a happy and bountiful Thanskgiving!

I want to tell you that I'm sorry to hear that you have gone through so much turmoil these past few months. I truly hope everything goes well for you and that your recovery will be quick. I sicerely admire your attitude, (it makes me think about mine) that you are able to think and feel positive about a situation that must be quite difficult. You will be in my thoughts......I hope you have the best holiday season ever!!
Today I decided to quit worrying about organizing my new place and let myself relax and do what I want. So, of course, here I am at the computer! LOL

i am going back to college to finish up my last 15 credits which i dropped out 19 years ago to piss my parents off now that im 39 i finally am going to go back and graduate and be the last person in my family to obtain a college education and considering my father was my jr high and high school principal it really ticked him off and was ostersized from the family for about 10 years. so this fall i will finish up what i shouldve done a long time ago
