pete, maybe they changed it to $30 with a maximum cashout of $30 because there were actually people cashing out $250 when they didn't expect this would happen. I guess the law of averages would be to the effect that a lot of people might actually cash out the $250 and then they could go belly up.
It's been fun for me playing the free money each day, but not being a patient person, I get bored with it and accelerate the betting just so it will be over. Today particularly irritated me because I had played $773 on the $30 and still had $2200 to go. I had over $200 at this point and would normally have cashed out. It was making me crazy. Funny thing is, how often could I possibly achieve that if I put my own $30 in?

O.K. thanks. right now I have a balance of over $500 and have made about 10000 comp points off it, but, it's not worth it to me to do a cash out of only $30.

The rules in the cashier are final, so that is the number to look at. The casino has sent out multiple free chips, so one round may have had $300, and the next $30 max, but the cashier's terms are what you always have to go by. They probably got killed with the larger max cashout and changed the terms on subsequent free chips.
