Thanks, nathan!

It was fun, but I did NOT win smile

I have to say, that $100 at the casino versus, playing $100 online - there is a huge difference.
I feel like, playing $20 online is like equivalent to playing $200 at the land based casino.
Geez.. it goes way too quickly!

I think I will stay away from there, for a while! smile

I have won so much online, comparing to land based casinos.
AND, in the comfort of my own home!

I couldn't agree more voodookitty! My fiance and I went out Saturday for his birthday, and took $300 and within 30 minutes was broke, hit the ATM for another $100, and managed to start hitting a little, got up to almost $900, but ended up coming home even, no win, no lose! Once I got in the car, I could have kicked myself in the @$$ for not taking all of it home, but just glad we didn't lose.

mistye81, It's a victory to break even in a "reservation" land based casino. smile

yes yes I have been to atlantic city about 3 times and to delaware park twice and went to charles town 4 times, every time i went i had several people with me and nobody ever won anything
the trips to atlantic city were bus trips too and so we were rolling about 40-50 deep and still no wins(except for 1 time in charles town on triple diamonds game my ex won 750$)
and i have made some very small deposits at online casinos before and won (cashed out from rushmore with over 1000$) and won on alot of freebies too.
I will stick with the online casinos

I have Indian Casinos, 3 hours or so, in any direction from where I live.
That is, if I don't stop, anywhere for food or restroom.. I hate using those side of the road bathrooms.. you never know what you might find or what might find you.. And, then after you wash your hands in the restroom, using the paper towel you used to dry your hands, to carefully grab the door handle with - you decide that you are not hungry afterall..
The drive there, is great... but, I hate driving home when I am so tired.
Then there is the Gas, stop.... that was a financial killer for a while!
Costs about $60 to drive there and back....
Food is expensive at the casinos unless you go to the buffets which are only open during 'certain' hours, and don't mind standing waiting in line behind 101 seniors that are trying to get exact change out of their wallets/purses, because they just got word that the buffet is on special and it is $8.99 a plate! Or, the foreigners that have just realized that what they thought was a quarter was actually a nickel and they have made a huge discovery!

I think I have just become so accustomed to playing at home!
If I am sooo sleepy, I can just walk a few feet and I am where I want and need to be! I like using my own bathroom! Finding something to eat, is sometimes a problem because my refrigerator is usually empty.. (yes, I live by myself!) But, Jack In The Box is right around the corner next to Starbucks! smile

So, for me......
Playing at home, beats having to leave the house!
That is, aside from all that I have won, in the past!

I have had great luck at landbased casinos in the past, but for the last year or so, not so lucky. I have 3 tribal casino within 45 minutes of my home, and also 4 or so Riverfront casinos, Harrahs, Argosy and a few others in Kansas City about and hour from my home, I have about the same drving time no matter where I go, I actually prefer the tribal casinos, I seem to have better luck. But I must say I get more comps from Harrahs, free rooms, free meals, and free play. But I seem to play longer at home playing online, I almost prefer online casinos to landbased, but having to opportunity to leave for a night to the casinos, is something I love to do, seems like the only time I get out of my house.

I can't lie and say I have never won anything at the land-based casinos,
as I have won a couple of Jackpots, back to back...
But, I can put it all back, so much faster than online and some how, I end up
going home - negative! I don't know why, but it happens, everytime!

The other thing, is that I miss Scary Rich, too much!
When I am at the casino, the only thing I can think about is ~ Frankie smile

The new slots that are out these days, can really wipe you out!!!
The .01 cent machines can suck up more in one spin, then the $5 machines.
It is really, CRAZY! And, there are so many of them!

I have made trips to land based casinos, right after winning "huge" online...
It sometimes saves me money because, if I am not at home, I can't reverse my withdrawals smile !
I know that sounds strange, but as I said.. "when I have won - huge"!
