lol err are you poking me? well it can be set to any number of times a day , just a matter of editing 1 line in the page
$timeleft=86400;
if you want it every 4 hours
$timeleft=14400;

the number is the number of seconds till next time they can play it again
14400 divided by 60 (seconds in a minute) divided by 60 ( minutes in an hour) =4 hours

I just set it to 24 hours (86400 seconds) originally as it was just supposed to be an aid to help people who go broke a lot during tournaments,
and guys the dollars won in the scratchie during a tournament are not counted towards your tournament scores ie on the Leaderboad

actually it does if you go to the tournament page you will see you have $200 tournament dollars, as Tawnia has a tournament set it's just not running yet.
I don't know why the tournament dollars doesn't show on posts currently even though it says tournament dollars under
NLN dollars see under location on the left of your post it says

80.00 NLN Dollars
Tournament Dollars

it should say

80.00 NLN Dollars
200.00 Tournament Dollars

I'm not sure what cho has done to make that not show and whether when the $1000 is set just before a tournament whether the current tournament dollars gets wiped or what or if the $1000 is just added to it
I don't have this modification installed on the test server to add tournament dollars like they do here so it's something I cannot test

I'll send cho an email to try and figure it out

I've looked in the html code and I can't even see where the admin page sends the info to set the $1000 tourney money
I've not seen this mod before I'll get cho to send it to me

no problem when I saw the post this morn i edited the game to change the message at the end to say please press the quit button to show when you can play again (or something like that) so it doesn't say come back in 24 hours and sent it to cho, as i had a feeling you'd want to change it lol

you're welcome , an adjustment is going to have to be made to the page I'm guessing either to have tournament dollars showing on the site once the tournament is set or setting the scratchie page to use tournament dollars only after the tournament or game-a-thon has actually started, am just waiting for cho to get back to me on how this tournament manager thing works then I'll fix it asap

it actually does that now, but it works from when you set the tournament not when the actual start time of the game, everyone who has played it so far has been paid in tournament dollars not nln dollars , if they visit the tournament page and have won on the scratchie game already they will see they already have tournament dollars,
i used the $game_on variable to set whether it's paying nln or tournament dollars not the timers because it's probably about half to a third of the code needed (quick and easy and lazy lol), obviously I'm gonna have to change that though and use the start timer , i'll sort that before work in the morn hopefully

Mullac, Ok, I see! It is better that it not pay tourney dollars until the tourney starts, but whatever works is great. Thanks for everything Mullac!
