It seems as though your Father has nine lives, so according to my caculations, he has 7 left!!

Dad is already out of the hospital!!! He had the surgery Thursday, he did wonderful with it and they released him yesterday! A lot sooner than what was expected. He's getting around just fine and in his typical stubborn fashion is already doing too much. Once again, he has overcome and came out like a super hero. Thanks again for all your prayers.

So sorry to hear what happened to your neice. That is unimaginable. I will definately be keeping your family in my thoughts. I truly hope all works out the best it can. Stay strong, as hard as that may be to do sometime. I can't even begin to phantom why something like that would happen..It's a sad world we live in sometimes....

my niece took a overdose yesterday........i guess she could not live with the idea of living without her eye........ she did not have insurance and we are trying to get money to bury her..........I hurt so bad because the said they could have given her another eye that look just like her own... but she did not give them a chance....

Oh gesh..I am so sorry to hear that.
I guess not only the eye but the experience in general would really change your outlook on life..

Guitargirl, first I want to say how very glad I am for your dad and your family. Like you said, he is like a super hero!!!!!
But in the next post, my jaw dropped. Britty, I have tears in my eyes. How terribly sad. The poor thing must have emotionally hit bottom. I am not very strong and thank God everyday I have a wonderful supportive husband to lean on. I'm sorry to say that I can understand how she just couldn't go on. She's out of pain right now and that's what you have to believe. That is what will help your family deal with this and go on.
I already have you on my prayer list, but I will add "extra" tonight for you and your family.
God rest her soul........
