Christmas Day, sunny skies and slight chill in the breeze brought a lesson in love as Harris G. after 85 years of life, 61 years of marriage, 5 kids, and more that a dozen grand children passed away around 11A.M. Surrounded by his family this truly was a christmas filled wilth love even the evening meal seemed to taste better. Despite the tears Christmas was filled with joys that have now become special memories that we can share with family and friends. Harris loved Christmas.

Sorry, I forgot this was a contest!

kushfoot, well that is both very sad and heartwarming...
Sorry for your loss, but I know Harris wants you to remember the good memories and not the saddness

Had a fun Christmas, all the family was together and the food was great, as always.
An easy way to use that leftover turkey is to make taco meat with it.
Use a couple of cups of chopped turkey instead of hamburger.

Happy Holidays to all

My Christmas was quiet...and kind of lonely! This is the first year I stayed home by myself and sent my husband and kids out visiting relatives. I made my own little Christmas dinner and served myself at the table. I was fine until late afternoon when I started feeling sorry for myself! smile LOL!

Then I remembered the peace and quiet was supposed to be my Christmas gift to myself! DUH! smile

Overall, though, it was very nice...especially with NLN to keep me company! smile

Spent xmas eve with the fam, good food and drink. Spent the night at my grandkids house to watch them open gifts bright and early the next morning before they go to my exes parents house for the day.

Son, if you really want something in this life, you have to work for it. Now quiet! They're about to announce the lottery numbers
