Hear about the new pet tax?
A Philadelphia radio station, WIOQ, reported that the local government would be instituting a "Pet Tax" in order to offset the local government's debt. The cost of the tax it stated was $10 for the first 10 pet pounds and then $1 per pound after that. If pet owners refused to cough up the cash for the pet tax, their pets would be confiscated and then put to sleep as the penalty for tax evasion.
NOT APRIL FOOLS HAHAHAHAHA!!!

A couple of years back I was dating my soon to be husband, We had been dating about a year. On april first I decided to play a april fools joke on him. My first husband had died which I had told my boyfriend when we started dating. Well on April 1st I told my boyfriend that I had lied my husband wasn't dead that he was alive and in the navy over seas stationed on a boat. I went to great details about the boat and how long he had been gone overseas. And that he was returning to the states and back home that nite. I said I was sorry and I had been lonely with him away overseas. That I didn't mean to hurt him in my lie, and that my husband would only be home for a few weeks and if he wanted we could start seeing each other again when he left. He looked at me like I had lost my mind.... Than I said April fools !!!!!! Need less to say he didn't find it funny, and he believed me. I had to prove to him that my husband had really died for him to believe I was only playing an April Fools day joke....Did I ever learn my lesson.

wow, that was crazy. i don't think i could keep a straight face if i went to that extent to tell my husband something like that when we were dating
