I cannot stand crowds either. I do almost all of my shopping online. I even became an Amazon Prime member to get free shipping, for one thing. I really like free shipping; it will often make or break a purchase that I make online. Some shipping costs are outrageous!

I too shop online and mostly Amazon. Although, I haven't did the Prime membership yet.

gjr1961, queenmap, I have been a member of amazon since 2007 and have loved them. I shop on that site a lot, but they irritate me these days with their price increases on items in my cart. I tried Jet for the first time with a 15% off coupon and I was happy with the transaction. The 2 items (xmas presents) were listed a bit lower than amazon to begin with and with the 15% off I saved $20 on ~ $100 over what I would have paid on amazon. Shipping on one item took a few days longer than amazon, but that didn't matter for this purchase.
Free shipping is great, but sometimes you do pay more on amazon for items that are "prime" and free shipping eligible compared to other sellers of the same item.
