This is one of my favorites. My son, who doesn't care for cranberries, will gobble this pie up!
CRANBERRY CRUNCH PIE
1 pie crust
1 lb. cranberry sauce (whole)
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. slivered almonds
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. butter
Blend 1/2 cup cranberry sauce with softened cheese and spreads over bottom of pie crust, 9 inch pie tin.
Add brown sugar, cornstarch and salt to rest of the sauce. Place over other mixture in pan.
Crumble flour, sugar and butter. Add chopped almonds and put on top of pie. Bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes.

maresydotes, My uncle always does a fried turkey... they are great but DANGEROUS! Make sure you don't use too much oil and start a fire.
My cousin in Michigan did the fried turkey for us a few years ago with his special cooker - sooo delicious!
