Christmas will be spent with my daughters and grandsons at my mother's house where we will enjoy a nice dinner and watch the little ones open gifts. Afterward, I will go home and collapse! LOL!

when you i lose my little girl i lose the joy and happen of Christmas. So i just stand at home whit my husband so we do not get upset seeing all the kids when they opening gift at Christmas i just send the money to family. And stay away till after the Holidays are over.

This week I was not sure how we would be spending Christmas or where we would be spending Christmas, we got news this week that our soon to be 12 yr old daughter also suffers from the terminal disease that her younger sister almost 11 suffers from. We have been blessed in that our Anna has made it to almost 11 but my heart is completely broken knowing what lies ahead for now both of my girls. We have chose to spend Christmas at home this year with just our family with a 3 exceptions, one of my sisters ( who I have not spent a Christmas with since we were both little children) and her daughter, and my father-n-law who is the most amazing grandfather to all 4 of my children. And Prowan my heart breaks for you. I do not know how I will make it when the time comes for the girls. Merry Christmas to all.

Honestly, not a huge fan of the holidays, but if I'm lucky, I'll be sharing Christmas with a few loved ones, having some adult beverages and maybe seek out a land casino for a few hours : )

dawnfix I am so sorry to your two daughter suffers from the terminal disease . Please never give up hope as they will be in my prayer. Be happy for every day that you have with them now. My daughter was 14 years old when see was kill So it was a long time ago. But i did not get to say good bye and tell her how much i love her. So it's like i have a big hole in my heart that no one can fill. So God has Bless you with two lovely daughter just take it day by day and be thankful you still can huge then and kiss them God Bless you and your daughters.

Prowan52 and dawnfix, I'm so sorry to hear that you will suffer sadness this Christmas. I too, feel sadness at Christmas since I lost my husband. The holiday season only reminds me of how single I am. I do know that compared to losing a child, this is not the same. I want you to know that you will both be in my heart, thoughts and prayers this season.

I am sorry you lost your husband. I am thankful i still have my husband with me. Yes you can compared to losing a child. I am sure he was the love of your life. The lose of a love one is have hard. I was lucky my Husband and i Stand together after my olny child use Kill. The odds for couple to split up when only child is kill. I have someone I can love for the holidays.
