On a Sad note -

Almost 18 years ago when I was just a 'teen' and living at
home with my Parents, I brought my home to my Mother for
Christmas............a baby Chihuahua (spelling?? ).
His name is Chico. He's a mean little shit!
My Mother loves him so much. Her Baby.
He's OLD......geeez, almost 18 years old - actually half my age.

My Mother called me today crying........hysterically..upset..
We know he's dying ......now he's not eating.
My Mother knows the right thing to do.....but, it's just so hard to give
up on him. He's family.

I know Chico will be in a better place.
My Mother isn't Old, however she is Not in Good health.......
I'm worried about her.

Here he is when he was 8 weeks old.

Heres a picture of that puppy all grown up well a lil more grown up at least shes almost three right now she was like 2yrs. 5 months when this pic. got taken so shes put on about 10 or 15 more lbs but looks about the same now as she did when I took this pic of her!

I can totally relate to the '"manners" issue!

When I brought Chico home, he was a tiny little monster.
I can remember how tired my Mom was for the first few months.
While everyone was asleep he was roaming around the house, in
the dark. My room was most exciting for him.
He'd be running around the house with my mail, money, socks, etc.....
Trying to get back whatever it was that he found it was a challenge.
Oh..........that Growl and those teeth!!!!

My Dad knew how tired my Mom was getting and didn't know what to do.
He came home one day with a "playpen" from Toys'R'Us.
That's where Chico would sleep in the night, and my Mom was finally
able to get some rest!!
