Went to the casino last night with some friends. Played for a while but ultimately lost what I brought to spend. Also realized that it's not wise for me to go to the casino while trying to quit smoking smileops: Today is a new day, lesson learned. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Thanks for your message shirlsplay. I guess it is not just me. I just like to help people, but I have a hard time saying no, and sometimes, people take advantage of it. I told her last night that I won't be able to squeeze her in on my calendar next time without more notice, and that I am not doing 2 things in one day anymore because it leads to mistakes. I don't think she was happy, but maybe she will start to appreciate all that I do. I am driving her somewhere almost every week, and she takes it for granted. I am glad to hear your brother doesn't take advantage of you anymore. I hope that will be true here.

Happy New year everyone and hope all is starting out well for you!! I am just soo proud of my daughter going after something she believes in..she auditioned for the Voice on Saturday, although she didn't make it I'm still soo proud that she tried and she says theres always next year.. now that's a great attitude and shes still a winner for trying!! she started out the year already very positive!! smile smile
