I'm on EST.
- Went to bed at 10:00 (I usually go to bed between 12:00 - 1:00 AM) More on that in a min.
- Son saw "something move" in his closet at 11:45 PM, so I played superhero, checked it and cleared it, then sat up w/him for approx 45 mins (making it now approx 12:30 AM). He was fine.
- 30 mins later, thunder and lightning.....and I hear those little feet walking across my hall.
- At this point, I JUST need to get to sleep b/c of what I had to do this AM. More on that in a min.
- Son gets in bed w/me & my fiance' (he jus turned 8, so it's still ok)
- Little robsspot is a kickin nugget, so I was totally uncomf.
- Get up at 3:45, go outside, walk around a few mins.
- Back in bed by 4:15, manage to fall asleep for an hour (have got to be up by 5:20 due to..............BIG & SMALL STACKS tournament @ Intertops). Had the lead in Small Stax. Noone had entered Big Stax.
- There were 5 entries in Small Stax, including 2 entries that were well within striking distance of my number.
- So, I'm up at 5:20, for a tournament that ends at 7:00, half asleep, crick in my neck, but"excited" abt what should be many more Add-On's over the next 90 mins for this tournament. For anyone not aware, Intertops weekly Small Stax tournament gets 0 or 1 entries/weekly. Maybe 2 entries every 3 - 4 weeks. There were 5 this time. Should have been worth $15 - $30 (or more). Not great money, but $15 - $30 for 90 mins worth of work, while I sit in my office, drinking coffee in my tee-shirt and jeans sounds pretty damn terrific, right? Welllllllllll, I made $4....$4 lousy bucks after the night I had to endure. There is NO point or lesson in my story. I'm just geeked up on caffeine. smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile

Right? Now, it's backaches, falling asleep at a desk, and coffee til a very, very planned time....so that the cycle doesn't repeat itself the following night.. smile
