I saw turkeys at Shaw's for .39 lb. Yes cheaper than dog/cat food. Cuz ya' know we have to share with everybody!!!!

W buy the cooked whole chickens too. for 5.00 it isn't worth cooking. Serves a family of ten....me and the hubby, 6 cats, 1 dog, and one cockatoo. Yes he loves it too!!!!!!!!

It's funny, you can't even find turkeys during the year.....

Just sharing....one year I tried making oyster stuffing. Totally my favorite now. If I didn't make it, it would be like missing the turkey!!!!! LOL

Oh yesss! I remember eating oyster stuffing when I was a kid. Someone used to make it, maybe a great aunt or someone. Delicious!

I've been hearing about your yummy recipes and cooking for years now! I bet everyone loves it. If I ever get down to Texas again, I'm going to hunt you down around dinner time. smile

It's true debidug, it can be hard to find turkey sometimes when there is no holiday, and if you can find it, OMG the price!!!

I did all my shopping yesterday! I was so tired, I didn't get a chance to come online last night and see what you all were doing. Maybe we need to find the "TURKEY" companies online and let them know we'd like to have turkey a little more often.

kcbaby62, I hope you like them! smile

I would add that they are best when really cold and add the bacon garnish at the last minute so that it's crunchy.

Ok, TDTAT, my husband is gonna love these he likes anything with bacon (lol).
I'm gonna try an knock them out the park with these deviled eggs everybody loves deviled eggs an sour cream in them OMG. (lol)

kcbaby62, I sure hope your family loves them as much as I do! Sometimes I just make 2 or 3 eggs for myself. smileops:
