Wll this is another family story for you! (How many people just got up and ran screaming from the room??he,he,he,)
I had just returned home from Atlantic City where I had spent a great 3 days with my sisters. I walked into the family room to say hey to the family. Only the very first thing I observe is a great big hole in my wall.
before I'd opened my mouth my two sons, ages 11 and 9 told me why there was this huge hole in my wall.they heard mewing andthey searched the entiremroom, they could not locate this kitten. So they went and got my husband and he took a glass and listened to the walls all around the room. When he finally located what seemed to be thte sourse of the mewing, he cut a hole in the wall and pulled out a brand new kitten. Mom, the kittens eyes aren't even open! Dan shone a light inside the wall looking for the cats mother, but there were no other cats in the wall! So I held the new baby and ofcourse fell in love, and I asked the boys what they had named our new pet. They both looked at me like I was crazy and said "What else could we name him but Wally!' LOL! Yes, I should have known. We nursed wally with an eye dropper and a lot of cream, and he grew up (boy did he grow up! largest cat I have ever owned. He was very beautiful, an angora who was a shade of grey with black markings, and a snow white bib.)untill he could eat on his own. Thr family room was on the second floor of our home, and to this day we have no idea how on earth he came to be inside our wall. Wally thought dan was his father and I was his mother and Thomas and James were his brothers. He used to ride around on Dans shoulders when ever we went hiking in the state forest that boardered our home. He really was a chaeacter and in my heart will always remain the greatest cat we have ever owned. I still wonder how a blind, kitten, no more than two or three days old ended up between the walls.

Spazz (daughters cat)
Trouble (my cat)
Lightning (we got a german shepherd and kitten at the same time and we named the german shepherd Thunder and the cat Lightning. Together they sure could put on a thunder and lightning show. A thunderstorm couldn't compare to what those two could do and did !)
