Yesterday was my mom's birthday. My sister drove her here to my place for a visit. They surprised me by stopping by my daughter's house, who lives in a town in between and picked up my granddaughter too. I used to live in the same town as my daughter and my granddaughter, Samantha, used to spend every weekend at our house. I haven't seen her since last August, so I was surprised and extremely happy to see her. I can't express how much this touched my heart. I am teary eyed just telling the story; I have missed Samantha so badly. We had a wonderful visit!! It made my day, week, month and year...all thanks to my mom.
